Michael A. Martino, LPC-I

Michael is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor Intern. He is a dedicated and enthusiastic advocate for helping adolescents and adults create healthy, confident, and hope-filled lives. His goal in counseling is to help his clients gain a better quality of life and interpersonal wellness through a balanced lifestyle of self, spirituality, love (relationships), work, and society (serving others).

Michael counsels teens and adults with a variety of concerns including: compulsive behaviors, pornography, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, shame and guilt, grief and loss, and successful development through the teenage years and into adulthood.

Before becoming a counselor, Michael spent over 10 years working with troubled children in the school system, volunteering as a mentor for various boys' and girls' clubs, teaching life-skills to teens at in-patient facilities, and organizing numerous camps and outdoor high-adventure excursions for church youth groups. He has recently worked with patients struggling with severe chemical and sexual addictions at a rehab treatment facility.
